I chose to join the Bulgaria climbing camp because I believe that the master-student relationship is fundamental when it comes to an activity that requires such intense dedication and properly learning the techniques of a complex sport seems more useful than discovering them haphazardly.
On my part, the camp was a wonderful experience which gave me a new lease on life. My expectations were greatly exceeded and the gym’s instructors are great people who show professionalism by giving you the confidence that you almost entirely lack when near a rock face.
I’m also surprised that I’ve succeeded in finding a sport which gives me more than mere physical exhaustion and momentary gratification. There’s an ever more present feeling that this sport might give shape to my otherwise inhibited sports personality.
